Ha, ha- that's actually the perfect analogy
Great visual reminder! This was
a favorite song of mine when my children were littles. Parenting can be scary
sometimes. We moms want to protect our kids so much. This song helped me
remember to do my best and trust God for the rest. Rest easy knowing the
creator of the universe, our Maker, all powerful, miracle worker, loving God will
cover your shortcomings. He put your children in your life as their mom. God
chose you for your child. The Lord knows your shortcomings and He chose
you for your specific children. The God who gave all for you and your children
has them in His hands. Rest knowing as incompressible as it is your children
have a Father in Heaven who loves than more than your human heart is
capable of. As a mom who would do anything to protect and care for my kids
a love like that is beyond my comprehension. https://youtu.be/STX2NYuhvfM?

of littles. I used to listen to and sing this song over and over when I had
discouraging mothering days. (God is in control by Twila Paris)

its share of fear and worry. We make every effort to protect our kids. In the
end, our efforts to control every situation prove impossible. This song helped
me remember that ultimately my kids were in God's protective loving hands.
Although it's impossible for me to fathom God loves my children even more
than I. The Creator of all things, the Maker of my children, the God who
orchestrated me to be their mom, is in control. God was not blind to my
imperfections when he placed my children in my home and made me their
mom. So I have tried to remember to just do my best. God will do the rest.
The Lord knew I'd fall short. I like to picture Him telling me, " I got you. Let's
do this together. Follow my lead!
