My Testimony

I was raised in a Christian home and knew about Jesus from a very young age. However, I didn't fully understand the gift of grace He gives through His Son. Often, when I did something wrong I would feel guilty and not know how to handle it.

Then, I had a 4th grade teacher who began to teach about salvation in much more depth. She talked about God's forgiveness through Jesus His Son. My teacher helped me understand how I could know Christ had forgiven me and become His friend. I prayed that day that Christ would forgive my sins and come into my life.

As my teacher put it God wiped my slate clean and I have New Life in Christ. I felt immediate peace.

Having Christ as my Savior changed my life. I began to study God's Word and pray. I learned to love others in a deeper way and to love those who were unloving to me. The unconditional love of my Heavenly Father gave me a peace that I never had before. The Bible says that once we know Him personally, "no one can pluck us out of His (God's) hand." Jesus Changed My Life!
