What's Your Attitude?

Headed off to the beach with Joy, Kevin, and my sister on Sunday afternoon.

Arriving just steps from the beach the car door malfunctioned. The car door refused to close. I was frustrated. I had been craving a beach day much of the summer. Thank God we have one level headed member in our family- Joy While the rest of us react on emotion Joy keeps her cool. I'm reminded of a song from my childhood, "are you humbly grateful or grumbly hateful what's your attitude? Do you grumble and groan or let it be known all God's done for you." Sorry to say this mama was the grumbling groaner. We ended our day on a lighter note. We were still able to watch the sun go down. It was beautiful. I'm kicking myself that we failed to get my sister in on these pics.

She was taking a walk on the beach when we shot these. Anyway, I threw in a pic from our Mount Shasta trip the summer after I adopted my kids. My sister planned and took us on that trip to celebrate. Such a special memory
