A Picture of Love

God speaks into our lives in new ways each day. He recently revealed His love to me through the love I have for my child.

Finding my daughter was sick while out of town I worried. I wanted her to come home. Desire to take care of my "little girl" took hold of my emotions.

When she came home I felt joy and cheerfully got her what she needed to heal.

Later my daughter said, "it's so nice to have someone take care of me when I'm sick. I didn't realize how much I'd miss that."

What a picture of God's love that gave me! When we're hurting, lost, or in trouble the Lord wants us to come to Him. His desire is to give us peace, comfort us, and fill us with His love.

As we come to God the realization of our need for Him is solidified. Our hearts realize the peace we have in Him and we see what we were missing.

God rejoices when we come to Him. Daily He calls.
